Since I no longer have facebook,

I get to rant here! And you get to enjoy it :P

I am currently sitting in a booth in little Fairhaven. I can see the rain drizzling out the front window, and people rushing to get in their cars or into the little mom and pop shops. Some sweet Nora Jones is playing in the background and I feel completely at ease.

I’m waiting for a woman named Taimi (pronounced Tiny but with a M).  For my journalism class we have to do a feature story on someone in the community and I picked her! She is writing a book about ghosts in Fairhaven and I am completely intrigued. I like to pretend that ghosts aren’t real, only because they scare me so much. But I hope she has some great stories for me.

After the interview I get to go home and do some more lovely homework. Then get groceries and finally eventually I will be able to sit and relax with my boyfriend.

I sometimes feel that I never get a chance to take a deep breath anymore. It’s obnoxious. What happened to being able to relax? I haven’t been able to since the quarter started. I’m always worrying about my next assignment, or paper due, or upcoming exam. I don’t remember the last time I got to let my hair down, have some fun, and then sleep all day. The life of a college student is kinda crappy when you think about it. Will it get any better?

Will I eventually graduate, and get a career, and get the opportunity to travel or relax? Or will the rest of my life consist of me stressing over everything? Something to consider. I wish I would have enjoyed my relaxing days before school when I had the chance.

Well, that’s it for the day. Wish me luck on the interview!
